Prayer Encounter Seminar

Our desire at Pray for Renewal Ministries is to lead and equip the church through a prayer seminar to win souls for Christ through evangelism. Are you ready? We’d love to host a Prayer Encounter seminar at your church!

A Prayer Encounter Seminar is a blend of worship, teaching, ministry, prayer, and fellowship. The vision of these seminars is to see Jesus magnified through prayer. Our goal is to also grow leadership that builds bridges between denominations, seeks healing along racial lines, and loves the hurting and disenfranchised. Dr. Teykl travels the globe speaking, combining humor and wisdom to help people and churches deepen their prayer lives.

Seminar Schedules typically run on Saturdays from 9:00 a.m. – 1 p.m.

Encounter: A Blueprint for the House of Prayer is our primary curriculum for a prayer seminar. It covers a wide range of topics including personal prayer, prayer evangelism and building prayer ministry in the local church. This 140-page workbook will be the syllabus for your prayer event. Lessons from the other seminar topics are included in this workbook.

Praying Grace: Training for Personal Ministry is designed to teach people to pray for the needs of others. This topic offers in-depth training in praying for salvation, healing, fullness, and freedom. We’ll also walk through how praying for the felt needs of the lost reaps huge kingdom benefits. This training is vital when organizing prayer as a ministry time in the church. It will also equip those in attendance to be comfortable enough to pray for others whenever prayer is needed.

The Presence-Based Church is another vital seminar topic. A prayer-based church invites the presence of God into our lives. This seminar promises to change the way we ‘do’ church. You’ll learn powerful insights into the differences of what makes a church alive and fulfilling the great commission, or just marking time.

Through this seminar, we will explore how prayer can capture every thought and mold those thoughts to the mind of Christ. We will also work to tear down carnal strongholds and invite the Holy Spirit to move freely in our lives and our church.

Strongholds are rooted in our thinking, where the enemy works to conceal and confuse the truths of God. When he can twist Christians’ corporately held ideals and attitudes, he can cripple local churches, and keep the body of Christ in conflict and turmoil. The only hope to dismantle these destructive strongholds is the very real and powerful Presence of God. When we worship and welcome Him, His presence will wash over our minds, clearing the way for divine strongholds to take over.
