Keys To The Kingdom: Personal Prayers To Seek God contains prayers to seek Him for who He is and not just what He can do for us.  This is a prayer experience that will manifest God’s presence.  When we pray prayers to seek God, we will find Him.  The Bible tells us so in Matthew 6:33.

We wrote these prayers to help people find more of God.  Too often, we pray prayers to seek God to get something.  But the Bible is clear we are to seek God’s face.  The essence of seeking God is to know His beauty, His voice, His uniqueness, His smile (Favor), His good pleasure, and what He likes.  We want to know more of Him as we invite Him to have more of us.

Here is a sample prayer. Day 1: “Father God, I marvel that you pursued me to save me and call me your child.  You sent the Holy Spirit to woe me and used witnesses and events to bring me into Jesus. Praise you for your amazing grace.  Now it is only fitting that I pursue you.  With enabling grace may I chase after you with all my heart.  I want to seek you to know you intimately and grow in awe of you.  Grant m a seekers heart. Amen.”

Our real enemy to intimacy with God and intimate prayer is often not some terrible sin or even the devil himself. It’s often the way he uses the lull of life’s rhythm to numb us to the grandeur of God. As someone once said, a rut is a grave with the ends knocked out. But, when we dare to deviate from the norm, to seek God in a fresh and different way, we often discover something that stirs our souls and awakens his Spirit within us.

Outside the Camp: Beyond The Familiar To Inquire Of The Lord is s 30- day prayer guide that takes you beyond the familiar to a new intimacy with God. This book is all about seeking God and His ways through prayer. What a better way to live than to live for who God is. At the end of each day, there is a place for reflection to write down your intimate prayers.

This is a devotional we wrote based on Exodus 33 when Moses went outside his comfort zone to seek God.  Sometimes our worst enemy is not the devil, but the familiar.  A regular routine of a good life or a good church may numb us from going deeper with God.  There is so much of Him to know and to relish.  Our “awe-meter” should always register that we want more of Him.  This devotional is about prayer for a deeper revelation of Him.

Now Moses used to take a tent and pitch it outside the camp some distance away, calling it the “tent of meeting.” Anyone inquiring of the Lord would go to the tent of meeting outside the camp. Exodus 33:7
