It has always been my conviction that we could do a better job praying for the sick. That’s why I’m so excited about our new resource, My Healing Devotional: 40 Days to Pray for Wholeness. It is a meaningful gift for someone battling illness and is a great tool for personal prayer ministry. It could even be used to help teach people how to more effectively pray for the sick.
In Luke 5, some men lowered their friend down through the roof of a house where Jesus was teaching. They knew that one touch from Jesus would make him well, so they were willing to take the risk and “hold the rope.”
Is there someone who needs you to bring them before Jesus for healing? Will you be a rope holder?
Over the years, we have seen the Lord heal people of various sicknesses. Quite often, the healing came as part of a process. As a result, we wrote a 40-day devotional to facilitate this process with scriptures, devotionals, prayers, and verbal declarations. As a special fruit of this work, a sick person may give this devotional to family members and friends to pray on their behalf. In this devotional, we include the stories of people who have been healed to encourage faith for healing.
A great companion to this book is Keys to the Kingdom: Prayers for Healing.
